Westwinds Mobile Home Park has fresh start with new owner, new management company and new name

- As of September 1, Evans Management Services will run day-to-day operations at newly named Silicon Valley Village, where tenants are assured continued stable and secure housing -

San Jose, Calif. (Sept.1, 2022) – Silicon Valley Village Mobile Home Park is now the name, effective today, September 1, 2022, for the community formerly known as Westwinds Mobile Home Park — a renaming that comes with a new owner and property manager. 

As long promised, tenants may rest assured of their housing stability for the foreseeable future as the new land lessee and ownership group MPLL, LP, has taken over the reins of the community from the former owner and operator, MHC Operating Limited Partnership.

MPLL, LP, has retained Evans Management Services to assume day-to-day oversight and responsibilities at Silicon Valley Village, starting September 1, 2022.

Evans’ experience in the field is extensive, spanning more than 35 years overseeing parks in the greater Bay Area. At Silicon Valley Village, Brian and Dianna Pierce will serve as the park’s onsite managers. Both bring more than 25 years of managing mobile home communities.

A neighborhood gathering is being planned, celebrating the newly named park and introducing the new management.

Among the top priorities for the new management is forging transparent, ongoing communication with residents. The company also has a 24-hour emergency line set up so tenants can quickly access management.

This new chapter for the park comes as the previous owner’s land lease with The Nicholson Family expired this month. For the past two years, The Nicholson Family — 150-year-long stewards of the land where the park resides — assured tenants they would not be displaced by this change in ownership and management of the park.
